The Law Society has developed several guides to assist lawyers and paralegals to be more efficient in their practices. Whether it be opening a new own practice, setting up proper books and records, or developing policies for the closure, retention and destruction of client files, the Law Society has developed useful resources to assist you.
The Practice Guides are free to lawyers and paralegals in Ontario.

Licensees may order a paper copy by sending us an e-mail or a fax at 416-947-3329, including your mailing address, or by calling 416-947-3315 (1-800-668-7380 ext.3315) and asking for CPD Publications. Non-Licensees will be subject to a $10 fee for each hardcopy requested.
