Placement Initiatives for Finding Articles
The Law Society provides placement initiatives and supports to assist students-at-law with their articling job search in addition to posting articling job opportunities received from employers. An approved education plan must be on file with the Law Society for your articling opportunity to be posted. Please note all principals must be approved at the start of the proposed articling term.

Biographical Paragraphs and Mentor Program
Biographical Paragraphs
Candidates may submit a one paragraph summary of their qualifications to the Articling Office. These paragraphs are distributed to potential employers, benchers, and others who have contacted our office in search of a student-at-law for articles.

Mentorship Program
The objective of the Mentorship Program is to provide unplaced students-at-law with support by pairing them with a member of the profession who will provide advice and encouragement during the search for an articling position.

Job Search Skills Workshop
In recent years, the Articling Office has provided various Job Search Skills Workshops giving candidates the opportunity to gain invaluable search skills, as well as to have their resume and covering letter expertly critiqued. Placement Reports
