Lawyer Annual Report
Purpose
Under By-law 8, Part II all lawyers must submit a Lawyer Annual Report to the Law Society by March 31 each year. Lawyers provide details regarding their practice of law and other related activities during the preceding year in this report.
Who This Applies To
Law Society lawyers must submit an Annual Report in order to maintain their licence.
Reporting Requirements
- Submit a complete and original Lawyer Annual Report or e-file the report at https://eforms.lsuc.on.ca by March 31st each year
- Ensure that Client Service Centre has updated contact information including telephone/fax numbers, and mailing/email addresses for business and home
Non-compliance
Failure to submit the Lawyer Annual Report by March 31st each year will result in administrative suspension for non-compliance. See the Administrative Suspension page for more information.
Review Process
The Administrative Compliance department reviews all paper reports for incomplete and/or blank responses. If a report is incomplete, an AC Representative contacts the lawyer to request additional information.
Amendments to annual reports must be submitted in writing along with a signed disclaimer giving permission to amend the Annual Report.
E-filing the Lawyer Annual Report saves time and ensures that all responses are complete before the form can be submitted.
Non-refundable Administrative Fees
There is no fee to file the Lawyer Annual Report.

Section H: If e-Filing, it is important to remember your Password exactly as it was created in the Application for Access in order to submit your report.
