Paralegal Standing Committee
The Paralegal Standing Committee's mandate is to develop and recommend policies to govern and regulate licensed paralegals in the public interest.
There are 13 people on the committee: five paralegals, five lawyer benchers and three non-lawyer (lay) benchers.
The five paralegal members elected in the first election held in March 2010 are as follows:
- Cathy Corsetti (Chair)
- Paul Dray
- Michelle Haigh
- Kenneth C. Mitchell
- Robert Burd
On April 8, 2010, Michelle Haigh and Paul Dray were elected as benchers by the committee's five paralegal members and three lay benchers. The entire committee elected Cathy Corsetti as chair.
The three lay bencher members of the committee are as follows:
- Marion Boyd
- Seymour Epstein
- Cathy Strosberg
The five lawyer bencher members of the committee are as follows:
- James Caskey
- Glenn Hainey
- Paul Henderson
- Douglas Lewis
- Susan McGrath (Vice-Chair)
