BAILII
The British and Irish Legal Information Institute provides access to the most comprehensive free and up-to-date collection of British and Irish primary legal materials on the Internet. The databases on BAILII are derived from a number of sources: some of the data comes from existing free sites, but most of the databases are based on published and unpublished CD-ROMs or rely upon direct and indirect feeds by relevant courts, government departments and other organizations. All of the data has been converted into a consistent format, and a generalized set of search and hypertext facilities has been added. The judgments are published on the web site within three days of their release in an approved form. Recently added decisions can be accessed via the Recent Decisions, Recent Additions and New Cases of Interest links on the home page.

The cases are available as printable PDFs that replicate the pagination and appearance of the hard copies exactly. All reports have been given a unique citation (e.g., [1867] EngR 19) in addition to their original E.R. and nominate reports citations.
