Legal Periodicals Online
Overview
This section provides annotated lists of law journals and other legal periodicals available on the Internet. The lists include journals and periodicals that have full text online and those that only provide abstracts or tables of contents but are available in print in the Great Library's periodical collection. The journals and periodicals are organized under the following headings:

Database
of Law Journals Available Electronically and at the Bora Laskin Law Library
A searchable database of direct links to full-text law journals
available on Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, Westlaw Canada,
University of Toronto Electronic Resources (which includes LegalTrac
and HeinOnline) or the Internet as well as a list of the Bora Laskin Law Library's print holdings. A browsable
alphabetical list is also provided. A useful feature is the inclusion
of database codes of the journals on Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw and Quicklaw.
Free Full-text Online Law Review/Law Journal Search Engine
The ABA Legal Technology Resource Center has created a free full-text online law review/law journal search engine that searches the free full-text of over 400 online law reviews and law journals, as well as document repositories hosting academic papers and related publications such as Congressional Research Service reports. In addition to a list of journals searched, includes links to journals with free full-text content online which must be searched/browsed manually.
University Law Review Project
Full-text search of all academic law journals available on the Web. These free services have been setup by FindLaw and the Coalition of Online Journals with help from Verity, the Australasian Legal Information Institute, the Legal Information Institute at Cornell, Stanford University, JURIST -
The Law Professors' Network and many law schools and journals throughout the world.
Current Law Journal
Content
An indexing database (without any subject analysis) that covers
1355 journals and can reconstitute the text arrangement of an issue's
table of contents. The table of contents information is obtained
from a number of sources: the University of Texas Tarlton Law Library scans 720,
Washington & Lee Law School scans (or electronically reformats) 563, and other libraries scan 72 journal contents pages. Few journal
issues published prior to 2004 are indexed in the database. The
database contains no articles in full text, but it might contain
links to full text.
Contents Pages from Law Reviews and Other Scholarly Journals
A keyword-searchable database of tables of contents from more
than 750 law reviews and other scholarly publications related to
the law published in the United States and abroad. Updated daily,
the database lists journal issues received over the past three months
by the University of Texas Tarlton Law Library.
Related Services
Access to online subscription databases, including Westlaw Canada,
LexisNexis Quicklaw, LegalTrac and HeinOnline, is available free of charge to Law Society
